Helm True Wireless Bluetooth 5.0 Headphones Review
This is an excellent moment to get a set of truly wireless earphones. Early versions had a host of problems ranging from poor battery life to delay difficulties. They used to have a cool appeal, which was heightened by the introduction of Apple’s AirPods, but even the finest were difficult to suggest. Something about these headphones is small right away. The charging case, charger, and handbook are the only items housed in the beautifully streamlined black box. The charging case is roughly the size of my hand and fits well in the front of the pocket of my pants. The earbuds appear big at first due to the unbalanced weight distribution, however, the fit is snug. They’re comprised of a squishy, rubbery-plastic substance and include a rubber hook to attach to your eardrum fold.
When you twist them into place, they feel robust but not confining. The earpieces each have only one button, resulting in a clumsy control scheme. To reduce the volume, for instance, you must push the left button 3 times. A minor quibble due to their small stature, but one worth highlighting.
It appears that only the most vigorous, head-slamming actions will be able to remove these helped lads. And, with a six-hour battery life that can be recharged 5 times with the power adapter, these headphones are ideal for people who are always on the go.

These headphones undoubtedly offer a high-end sound. The sound does not let you down. It’s rich and punchy, yet still tight and controlled. The tightness and intensity of the lower-end sounds, which are particularly designed for kick percussive instruments, can be heard with every beat. At no point in time did the bass seem boomy, loose, or overpowering.
Things went strange for me in the middle and especially in the highs. The highs are really high… sharp and snappy, adding to the ‘HiFi-ness’ of the sound. However, the middle lacks the power and detail seen in the peaks and valleys.

The high-end pulls out multilayered acoustic guitars, synthesizers, and cymbals wonderfully, although the boost occasionally seems to highlight the wrong things. The harmonic overtones of the drums drown out the top end of the guitarists in a flood of loud sibilance in heavily layered rock composition. Furthermore, louder voices sound far superior to lower ones, which are overly forced into the background.
However, if you use them primarily as workout earphones, this may be plenty. Perhaps all you like but to hear when working up a sweat are the important ups and downs, which come through clear and loud. Dance, EDM, and other beat-heavy music sound fantastic. And, like the energetic, sweating listener, these headphones can go unexpectedly loud with no distortion.
The depth of the soundstage is particularly outstanding. Midrange frequencies may seem a little distant, but clear low points stack nicely on top of one another. The depth (and, once again, that cheaper end!) is more than satisfactory for a set of headphones this tiny.

Battery Life, Comfort, and Range

True wireless earphones are notorious for being unpleasant and difficult to secure. They’re larger than wired buds since the housing must house not only the drivers, and also a battery, radios, and controls. The Helm Audio True Wireless 5.0 Headphones are large and bulky, but because of their design (which includes a tiny, incorporated silicone fin), they fit quite snugly and securely. To guarantee a proper fit, the firm supplies a variety of polyurethane ear tips in various sizes.
As comfy as these earphones were, the buttons were their Achilles Heel, as they are with many wireless earbuds. It’s good to have the capability (including the option to summon Siri or Google Home), but pressing the button needs some effort, which puts pressure on the earphones. This might be uncomfortable and cause the buds to fall out.
The shell has an interesting diamond pattern in this hefty design. With this design, they clearly stand out from the crowd, but it also serves a practical function, as it resists scratches and fingerprints, which may be highly visible on earphones with smooth, shiny shells.

While their initial attempt at producing TWS Earbuds for music lovers was great, their second try is spot on. The initial iteration nailed the appearance, fit, the comfort, but the True Wireless 5.0 takes that recipe to the next level with fantastic features like Bluetooth 5.0 for stronger connections and apt-X for crisper music. They also introduced auto-pairing, making them much easier to use. HELM deserves credit for taking a decent product to making it extraordinary.
